An introductory course to the city of Rome in English and beginner Italian, through five days of art, history, museums and cultural exploration.
Rome is more than the location of the course: it becomes part of the learning experience.
During five days, participants explore the evolution of Rome from the ancient city to the Renaissance and Baroque periods through classroom sessions, museum visits and guided walks.
Each outside activity is introduced and contextualised in the classroom at Accademia Studioitalia before participants experience the city directly.
The course combines structured learning with the unique cultural heritage of Rome.

ANCIENT ROME – FROM THE ORIGINS TO THE EMPIRE

Visit to Galleria Doria Pamphilj. Museum admission and audioguide are included in the course fee. Participants explore a historic Roman palace and one of the most important private art collections in Rome, experiencing the relationship between the artworks and the historic palace in which they are displayed.

BAROQUE ROME – THE CITY AS A MUSEUM

Move Around Rome
Each participant receives a weekly public transport pass for Rome. The pass is included in the course fee and can be used during the course for journeys related to the programme and for independent travel around Rome during its validity period.
